Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist

F**k yeah!

I don’t care if everyone and their internet moms all hate the Tatcha face mist, I love it.

I lived in Hong Kong for 23 years and before that I grew up in Bombay.  Both are humid and hot, so facial mists aren’t really necessary and I never owned one.

But lately with the advancing years the skin is moving towards dry. This coupled with being cooped up in an air-conditioned environment means a light spritzing of mist during the day has become a necessity.

The usual Evian, Avene and other fancy water based spritzers were meh, then I bought the Clinique Moisture Surge™ Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief  on Caroline Hirons recommendation. The glycerin gives a nice glow but the formula stung my eyes,  was too wet, tended to leave big droplets and my face felt dry after a short while.

I used it up never re-purchased it again.

But 8-9  hours in air-conditioned office was not great for my skin so I ordered the Heritage Store Rose Water off  iHerb and used that to mist my face. But again my face would feel dry and stretchy after a bit.

And then……enter …Tatcha…. OH MY GOD !

I received the Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist as a sample from after a shopping spree at Lane Crawford, Hong Kong.IMGP2849

Its amazing ! Firstly the mist is even and soft. Even a few pumps doesn’t give you big fat drops of water on the face. It’s hydrating and leaves behind a glycerin-glow but not greasy. Not greasy even in HK summer !IMGP2847

I know people hate this product but I really loved it.

Would I repurchase, y….e…..s.

The price is a deterrent, definitely, but also for that price I don’t want to be seeing any alcohol in the ingredient list. Albeit it is right there at the bottom of the list.
